The simple fact is, with modern times-to-market, it often seems that the advertising or marketing department is demanding photos of a newly-developed product long before that product has been manufactured and actually exists in the real world. ¬†Add to that the amount of retouching that is done to remove scratches and blemishes from photos, and it’s not hard to see why CG is a prefered solution.

Working with either CAD files or blueprints from the client, I build a precise model of the product, apply realistic materials, compose the scene, illuminate the scene with photometrically-accurate lighting, pull the necessary renders and composite them together into a remarkably compeliing image.
